Detria Austin is Arkansas Director for the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA). NACA is a non-profit organization whose mission is to stabilize neighborhoods and maximize homeownership opportunities for working people. It combines aggressive community advocacy, comprehensive homeowner services, and America’s Best Mortgage featuring a below-market interest rate, no down payment, no closing cost, no Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI), and does not require perfect credit. The NACA mortgage is available to anyone who desires to purchase a new home or an existing home, purchase and rehab a home, refinance a high interest rate loan or refinance for needed repairs.
Ms. Austin is setting up workshops and scheduling meetings to provide hope to the hopeless and a voice to the voiceless in the homeownership process. She purchased her first home through NACA with a 30-year fixed interest rate of 3.625% in 2005. Though she was not necessarily NACA’s target market, she knew this product was superior to what other lending institutions were offering. Her plans included educating the communities throughout the state on the types of mortgage products NACA considers predatory, such as high interest rates, Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARM), Interest-only, etc. Ms. Austin believes that when people know better they do better. Ms Austin is fully persuaded her work with NACA has been God-inspired and God-ordained. To schedule an appointment or discuss the program in detail, please contact Ms. Austin at (870) 550-6663.
